PLAN
The plan is to select, train and develop young
leaders.
- Select: Young leaders with proven potential are
nominated and selected (ages 17-30)
- Train: 40 days in the wilderness, before or
during college
- (at Wilderness North, the Olson-
Sonstegard Leadership Institute)
- Skills and values based
- Learn by doing using proven Tentmakers training process
- Case studies with senior mentors
- Develop: Two years for coaching and
development
- Go out in teams of two (while attending college or working)
- Receive coaching and mentoring from senior leaders
- Select and train young adults, passing on what has been learned, investing in
ten others who invest in fifty
- Prepare for a life-time of leadership
- Life-long membership in the Young Leaders Association

OUTCOMES
Life-long leaders who:
- Love and follow Jesus Christ with their heart, soul, mind and strength
- Cultivate strong families
- Lead and disciple young people to know and follow Jesus Christ
- Bring out the best in others
- Build relationships with people of wisdom to gain and share wisdom
- Know and defend the Bible as the authoritative and inspired Word of God, and debate issues of
truth respectfully and compellingly
- Teach the founding principles and values of the American Republic and its Biblical origins as it
was envisioned by the signers of the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution
- Become modern day “tentmakers” in the spirit of Paul the Apostle who lead the Church, industry, government, education and other walks of life.
